Meet Morgan

I’ve always been a lifetime learner at heart. Even as a child, I was fascinated by the stories people told about themselves and the world around them. I grew up immersed in the mental health field, with family members already providing services in this space. Some of my earliest memories consist of playing with ADHD and IQ testing materials and having family conversations about human behavior. It felt so natural that when it came time for college, I chose psychology—a path that fit my constant desire to understand people.

I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and my Masters in Clinical Counseling from the University of Denver. Training to be a therapist is just as much about learning yourself as it is about learning theory. That process gave me the ability to check my biases and hold safe, nonjudgmental space for people who may not have had that before.

Much of my work centers around trauma treatment, because I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to explore their past while reconnecting with the present. I use approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic-based therapies, Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed work, and other evidence-based methods to help clients process and release what has been held in the body and mind. These approaches honor both the science and the art of therapy—engaging the nervous system, the body, and the mind in the healing process.

Like many others, my own journey hasn’t followed a straight path. Some of my deepest growth has come through my hardest struggles, and those experiences have expanded my capacity to sit with others in the middle of their storms. Therapy, to me, has always been both a science and an art.

My goal is simple: for anyone who walks into my office to feel seen, safe, and validated. In today’s world, it’s easy to check out, get distracted, and lose connection with ourselves. I invite you to step back into awareness and begin feeling more connected in your life.

I’m so looking forward to meeting you!
